Whittington Village Hall wedding

Al and Cas’s DIY Whittington Whedding

Whittington is a pretty village in  Staffordshire near to Lichfield with all of the traditional features – a couple of excellent pubs, a church and of course, the Village Hall. This was the perfect scene for a rural wedding. Cas is a Whittington native though Al is a newer arrival, but they have built a strong community around them who turned out in force to celebrate their special day.

The weather was a bit changeable with a bit of rain, but this didn’t dampen any of the celebrations from St. Giles Church to the local pub The Dog Inn and then the Village Hall.

The village hall was hand-decorated, and grub  was served carvery-style. Entertainment was provided by a very passable Beatles tribute band….and a few other star  turns from some of the younger guests!!
